Taking Pride In Our Work

To celebrate Pride month in June, we took a curiosity-based approach to hear from different people from the LGBTQ community. We learnt so much we created a bonus episode! Our intention for this 5-part mini-series series is to lean in to some of these challenging topics and unlike the pressure on the news outlets who have to create clicks to sell; we take a calm and pragmatic approach to listen and learn from people.


We explore how workplaces can take practical progressive steps in the EDI space with collaboration and compassion as the foundation. We welcome your feedback in how we have approached this; everyday a school day and there is so much to learn in this continuously evolving world of inclusion).


We hear from Steph on how to induct and connect with new colleagues in a safe way, from Olly on the everchanging language around gender, from Sophie about the need to stand up for vulnerable people and Bhavna (aka the Mindset Ninja!) on thriving with a tri-cultural identity. Phew! Hence the need for a fifth bonus episode where we discuss the need to keep conversations flowing and connections growing. To be different is to be human!
