If having a duty of care to others is important to you, then it is also important to remember that you are a person too.
In our 5-part Apply Year Round SPF (Self-Preservation Focus) we encourage you to take a breath and prioritise your self-care with practical and straightforward tools that work.
Short, upbeat and snappy these are 5 guilt-free quick listens that give a clear call to action and ideas for sharing with others.
We first look at how to keep fired up without getting burnt out. This 12 min feel good listen includes our favourite tip: to reframe our language from "have to do" to "get to do" for a quick shift from victim to agent mode.
Then we focus on the classic "own mask on first" meme which is such a powerful reminder for self-care. Our third episode taps into ancient Stoic wisdom: how to keep our 70,000 daily thoughts working for us, not against us.
Got something big on the radar?
Our fourth episode looks at the relief that mental rehearsal can bring rather than worrying and ruminating. This includes a two of our all-time favourite tools OODA and BRAIN which are great ways to support someone else if they are stuck in a worry loop.
We end with the most important Factor of all - keeping confident and believing in ourselves. Its not ego, its joy.
